Love creates boundless beauty. Casa Nona is that boundless beauty. Born out of love and

remembrance for my dearest sister Noni who left us too soon and our shared passion for furniture

and everything that contributes to beautiful interiors, Casa Nona is a custom furniture

manufacturing studio that designs and creates magnificent pieces of utility that add greatly to the

aesthetics of your space.

We are lovers of exquisite furniture and are as excited by contemporary furniture as we are

enamored by vintage, eclectic or a bohemian design! That’s the reason why you will find a wide

variety of styles in our assemblage of work and products.

While we took baby steps in the area of custom furniture manufacturing with our inception in the

year 2016, our passion for creative design, functionality and durability soon helped us flourish into a

much-loved, high-end custom furniture brand delivering across India and even overseas. With a

unique combination of experienced craftsmen and modern machinery, we can manufacture

products that have an age-old appeal with the same panache as we produce the most

contemporary, impeccably finished designs.

Today, Casa Nona is a synonym for unique, timeless, and sustainable design with our core focus on

delighting our customers with every purchase they make with us. We do take pride in especially

promoting Indian craft and manufacturing techniques and being a local company with a global

outlook. Our endeavor is to take our customers back to the golden age of ‘slow furniture’, where

CUSHIONING PRODUCTS

Cushioning products like sofas, couches, pouffes, benches, accent chairs etc are Casa Nona’s forte.

We are master of the craft and take extreme pride in our meticulously crafted cushioning products

on state-of-the-art machines and with the best, top grade materials.

Internal Structure

Seasoned hardwood (and not the commonly used plyboard or MDF) is used for all our cushioning

products’ internal frames and its durability is ensured by robust joinery, generous glueing and

precise use of screws and nuts. For legs and all external components, we use seasoned CP Teak or

equivalent as required by the design.

Cushioning

A good resilience and tensile strength is ensured in all of our cushioning products by using the age

old, traditional techniques of sofa making. Instead of a flat plyboard base, all our sofas have a finely

woven network of springs and elastic belts to give you a very plush and comfortable seating with an

adequate bounce and perfect lumber support. Our cushioning fillers are all of branded foams and

poly fibres and have multiple layering. For custom orders, we also use super soft down feathers on

request in our fills.

Fabric

We are extremely careful about choosing the correct fabric for our products which gives a long-

lasting performance and has a high rub count (number of times fabric can be rubbed, essentially

meaning usage). We also consider the softness, feel and sheen of the fabric. The leatherette is

checked for its long-term performance and how it reacts in different weathers. The leather we use is

100% genuine, full grain leather. For customised products, you always have the freedom to chose

the fabric, colour, prints etc from our wide variety of branded fabrics.

WOODEN FURNITURE

We use premium grade A CP Teak for most of our products. The other woods we regularly work with

are Sheesham, Mango, Acacia, Steem Beech The other woods we regularly work with are Mango

Sheesham, Mango, Acacia, Steem Beech etc. All wood used in our products is seasoned and carefully

selected for a robust built and beautiful aesthetics. Some blemishes and irregularities are a part of

the natural structure and growing process of the wood and should be appreciated for their beauty

rather than treated as a defect. You will find the description of the wood used in the product

specification column. For customised products, you can request for your preferred wood and we

would be happy to incorporate.

METAL FURNITURE/FURNITURE PARTS

We use MS or SS for our metal furniture of the metal components used in any design. The finishes

done are powder coating or paint on MS and high gloss PVD/lacquer coating or electroplating on SS.

MS is first treated with anti-rust solution before finishing it with paint. PVD gives a high gloss,

smooth, mirror finish to SS and is the most sought-after finish for high end, luxury furniture with a

long lasting life.

Every product we make is perfected to meet the standards that we would look for while picking

something for ourselves. Absolutely no compromises are made regarding materials and

manufacturing and nothing is ‘hidden’ underneath a perfect looking surface finish. We are even

FAIR PRICING

Every money is hard earned money – whether ours or our customers’. So irrespective of the market

standards, our pricing is always fair. We do not believe in over the top pricing and charge only for

the high quality material and skilled labour that we hire.

FAIR REMUNERATION

As much as we are concerned about fair pricing for our customers, as much are we particular about

fair remuneration to our artisans and skilled workers. The fact that we have the same team of

workers and artisans with us till date (and going strong) since our first day of inception speaks highly

about not only our fair remuneration policy but also about the overall healthy work environment we

are able to achieve – surely reflecting in the quality of work we are able to churn out.

BEAUTIFUL AESTHETICS WITH ABSOLUTE COMFORT

For us, comfort and aesthetics go hand in hand. We strive to make products that compromise on

none. Our designs are unique, fresh, very beautiful and at the same time focused on comfort and

ergonomics.

Over the last five years, our scope of work has panned across delivering successfully a wide range of

projects including residential, commercial ( fine dine restaurants, cafes, schools etc) and even

government offices. While we are careful to offer warm, plush and vivid furniture solutions for a

residential setting, we are also masters of giving crisp and smart furniture designs for more

professional projects like offices and schools. We have also catered to a number of restaurants and

cafés while keeping in mind the heavy duty yet aesthetically demanding environment of the space.
